    Life Lately 8

[The reader boos as Chynna enters stage right] [Chynna picks up microphone] Chynna: So… I know it’s been a while. And I know that I’ve been neglecting you. It’s not nice being neglected, is it? I understand. Things have been super busy and exciting, and life is just so full, right now, you know? Excuses! Excuses, I know! What are we gonna do? WE’RE GONNA DO ANOTHER LIFE LATELY BECAUSE YOU CLEARLY NEED TO KNOW WHAT’S BEEN GOING ON!!!! [The reader looks warily at Chynna] Chynna: Trust me. It’ll be great. [smile] Food My last post was in May, so we have a lot to catch up on, don’t we?…

    Life Lately 6

What’s going on in the land of Chynna? When I first decided to write another Life Lately post, I wasn’t sure I’d have anything to write about but then I started doing my bullet points (something I usually do when I’m writing blog posts) & I came up with quite a few things! Life, in general, has actually been really, really good. January 2019 is probably one of the best January’s I’ve ever had. Usually, right after Christmas and New Year, I fall into a deep pit of “OMG, it’s a new year, I MUST project a new me to everyone and let everyone know my goals” but I almost…

    5 Ways to Motivate Yourself

I’ve always struggled with motivating myself especially when it comes to my writing. Often times I find myself procrastinating to a ridiculous degree and then feeling bad because I haven’t got anything done. Recently, however, I’ve found some ways that have helped me out! It’s helped me get back into my blogging mojo, so I’m hoping that I can continue to be motivated to get back into my novel. So, without further ado here are 5 ways to motivate yourself that have helped me: 1. Get Accountability from Others I’ve found that if I get accountability from other people in my life then this motivates me! If I message someone…

What’s Made Me Happy This Month

As I write this, I am sitting in a hostel in Iceland and honestly, it still feels like a dream. I don’t think it has hit me yet that I’m on holiday, so I’ll give it a few more days. Regardless, I was meant to have this post up yesterday but as that was the day we were flying out, things also went flying out the window. Have you ever been in place where you think, nothing gets much better than this? Like when you’re eating some really good pancakes or reading a book that you can’t seem to put down? I always find that it’s the little things that…

Sh*t They Don’t Tell You About Adulting

Adulting is hard. I can’t tell you how many times I complain a day about having to “adult”. I really wish there was a handy manual that I could refer to when I can’t get my head around something, or better yet – I wish someone had told me what I was to expect when I grew up. Do you ever wonder what life would be like if they had taught us budgeting or money management when we were in school? Things like taxes, mortgages or setting up a savings plan. If you were lucky to have parents who helped you out with that, all I can say is that…

    Burnt Out

As you might have noticed I have made the move to chynnawebley.com. I wanted to focus more on my portfolio, which has definitely been neglected for far too long and therefore have put my blog here. I didn’t expect to be away for this long again but my mental health comes first. Blogging, for me, has always been a passion of mine but in recent months it seemed more like a chore rather than a fun little hobby. I love seeing everyone else excelling in the blogosphere and I’m always sneaking around, peeking at everyone’s posts and cheering on everyone’s achievements. However, when it came to my own blog, I…

    Ramblings About Degrees

Is it important to have a degree? To a certain extent, yes. In this day and age, employers are looking for more than just good GCSEs and A-Levels. They more than likely want to employ someone they know got a degree from a reputable university. In saying that, sometimes you don’t need a degree. In certain industries, it’s always best to just go straight into work and work your way up the ladder. What annoys me, however, are people who believe that when you finish school, you must go straight into work. That you must climb the ladder to become successful. This is not to say that that still isn’t applicable,…

    Working Girl Problems

It’s been a hectic few days and I’ve now come to realised how busy being a working girl is. Now that I have two jobs, I have to juggle between them – I am currently doing two days at Mutual Media and three days at Move Digital but it’s the travelling that is taxing on me. I have to travel quite far from where I live to get to these places. I just started working at MD yesterday , but I can tell the journey is going to kill me every time. It takes me about an hour, which in theory shouldn’t be bad, but I have to take a…

    Christmas Spirit

This is it! For the whole month of December, I’m pretty sure every single post on blogger’s sites will mention something about Christmas. I know mine will 😛 I finally managed to grab a bit of time to myself, as I know it’ll be too tired/busy on the weekend, to quickly update my blog. Work has been super busy as of late, as we’re trying to get more people to install and I’m top doing social outreach. At the moment, I’m running a competition on Twitter which I must say is super fun, as well as writing blog posts. (I guess I am getting paid to blog even if it…

    November Loving – Happy December!

November has finished, already?! Hello, friends! I can’t believe it’s December already… Last month flew by so fast, but I’ll admit it has been an awesome month. The Coca-Cola adverts have started showing in the UK, so that means it’s officially Christmas! Has anyone started their Christmas shopping yet? Anyways, to mark the end of November/start of December I thought I’d let you guys know things I’ve been loving in November! Shoes It gets really cold in the winter, so I treated myself to some new boots from Daisy Street. I used to wear my mum’s boots but she gets pissed out when I wear her stuff, haha. I love…
