    Another Parisian Adventure

I don’t think I could ever get tired of Paris. It doesn’t matter how many times I go, or how many times I visit the same landmark, or how many times I go to Disney – there’s always this sense of familiarity which makes me feel comfortable and I know that I can visit again and again. Last November, my friend and I went to Paris for a few days where we also spent a whole day in Disney. You can’t really go wrong with a trip to Disney and it really is the happiest place on Earth. Don your Minnie ears and join me on a Parisian adventure! Theme…

Il mio hovercraft è pieno di anguille

My hovercraft is full of eels. Let’s get back into the swing of things with a new travel post. It has occurred to me several times that I haven’t been out of the country since November, which is very unusual for me. I don’t think I’ll be beating my record of 7 countries in a year, but that’s alright. I’ll be off to Croatia in August, so at least I’m getting out a bit. Not to mention, Mutay and I did visit Edinburgh in February! For my mum’s 60th birthday I treated her to a trip to Venice because you only turn 60 once, right? To be honest, it was…

It’s More Fun in the Philippines

I really tried to jump on the Blogmas band wagon, but I fell off way back when and it’s probably not going to happen. Now I’m just behind in my blog posts.. lol, such a failure. This won’t be like my usual travel posts where I detail what I did on each day because honestly most of the days I spent sleeping and eating. It was much needed. As y’all know, unless you don’t follow me on Instagram, I was recently in the Philippines for just under two weeks. It was mainly for family and for my Lola’s memorial as it has been a year since she passed away, but…

    ¿Dónde está la biblioteca?

I’m back from Barcelona with a wicked tan and a penchant for saying “Hola!” and “Gracias!”, all the time. Dear Barcelona, When I visited you two years ago, you took my heart. I vowed I would return, and whilst it took me two years to make it back – I did. You didn’t disappoint. From your astonishing views to your chilled out vibes and amazing weather, everything about you is a hundred and ten percent perfect. I didn’t want to leave, but alas it is back to reality for me. It won’t be long til I’ll be back. Adiós. DAY 1 We almost missed our coach to the airport, and the…

    Golf with Monarch

When I received a pun filled email from Talented Talkers to golf with the promise of tapas and wine tasting, how could I say no? Thanks to Monarch, I had such a fun evening at N1 Golf learning the basics of golf, eating yummy food and tasting delicious beers AND wines. It was an absolute laugh.

    Me Encanta Barcelona

Barcelona in one sentence: sun, sea and alcohol. Well, maybe not so much sun because it was pretty cloudy when we went. My friends were complaining that it was too hot, but as someone who’s been to the Philippines many times it was like water off a duck’s back for me. Nevertheless, I have an interesting tan line on my butt to show for it. Barcelona is amazing. It’s so amazing that I’m going back in September with Mutay. I haven’t booked anything, yet, but the passion to go back is so ridiculous. Alas, I’m stuck in an office being jealous of my colleague who’s going to China in August.…

A Gym Playlist Is a Must Have

The wheels have been set in motion for my holiday in June. I’ll be flying to Barcelona for 3 days from the 21st, and to say I’m excited is an understatement. Excitement aside, I’ve realised that I actually want to wear a bikini on this holiday because, a) It’s gonna be hot, AF and b) there’s a rooftop pool at our hostel. That being said, I’ve realised that perhaps the takeaways and overeating has taken it’s toll because I am nowhere near a flat stomach. I’m not fat, but I could do with a little toning here and there. Also, just being fit in general is always good. I actually…

Top 10 Places I’d like to Visit

Travelling is pretty high on my list for this year and hopefully I’ll get to do some once I successfully tie down a job. Here’s my list of top 10 places I’d like to visit (in no particular order). 1. Thailand Thailand looks like an awesome place to visit and I’d love to go around more of Asia. The only places I’ve been in Asia are Philippines and China – would definitely want to see what other cultures are like in that continent. 2. Australia I have a thing for Australian lads, I’m just gonna get that out there (RE: Prague Shenanigans). Plus, how cool would it be to spend…

    Brain Dump

I am having a brain dump kind of day. I need somewhere to put all the shit that is clogging up my mind. I am having also having an advert viewing day. Trying to find my favourite adverts of 2013. Everything from Geico’s ‘Hump Day’ to Volvo Truck’s ‘The Epic Split’ has been seen by my ever-tired eyes. You guys should YouTube Poo~Pourri. I promise you won’t regret it. Not sure how many adverts I’ve seen today. Don’t you hate it when someone copies what you do? (The other intern is getting on my nerves, and if he sees this I don’t think I will care) (In saying that, I…

    Happy November

I finally managed to get rid of that free host I had which messed up my blog and tried to delete all my files without my consent. I am now with ofblue.org. Happy days. Happy November, guys. It’s hard to believe that it’s nearly the end of the year already – I could have sworn just yesterday I was still in university… My November has been pretty happy, not going to lie. It was Guy Fawkes Day on Tuesday and I went to see the fireworks with a friend. If you follow me on Instagram then you would have seen the picture/video I took when I went. Guy Fawkes Night,…
