Vernez Launch

Thanks to The Bloggers Hangout, I was able to attend the Vernez Launch.
It was a flurry of mucking around in the photobooth, delicious cupcakes and candyfloss to the all important presentation of the app, Vernez.
Follow individual garments to see how others wear them, or share your own styling ideas to lead the trends. Vernez Facebook page
We were greeted by Moyang, the creator of Vernez, who is absolutely stylishly flawless and gorgeous and I had major hair envy. I love that she was there to greet us at the door when we arrived because it’s not often that you get to meet the creator of an app or product you’re using, plus she was really friendly!
The space where the event was held was amazing! Considering to get inside you have to go through a small entrance, I was not expecting it to be as big as it was. The set up was a very cool and chic with a bonus cat thrown in, who actually tried to steal the stage during one point of the presentation.
Moyang showed a demo of how the Vernez app worked during the presentation. I love the simplicity of Vernez and how easy it is to create your own board and share it with others.
Vernez is for the girl (or guy!) who can’t decide what to wear in the morning for work or someone who just loves to show off their style through pictures. It’s the app where you can curate your personal fashion feed. Personally, as someone who doesn’t know much about fashion trends I feel like Vernez is something that would help me look as stylish as I want to feel.
What I love is that Vernez allows you to follow a singular item, so then you can see all the different outfits people create with that one item. It’s handy when you love something, but are not sure what it would like in a complete outfit and it gives you great ideas for your wardrobe!
They had the most amazing cupcakes lying around with gorgeous buttercream frosting that had my friend and I wanting more, but restraining ourselves so as not to look too greedy. They also had delicious canapés! Our favourite part of the night had to be the candy floss machine. We also made friends with previous cat who tried to steal the spotlight – his name is Chestnut ?

The event was so much fun and I actually got to catch up with an old friend of mine who was there, which was completely out of the blue! The Vernez team had everything on point for the evening – thanks, guys!
Vernez is available for download in the App Store! For people viewing my post on your phones, click this link to take you straight to the download – http://apple.co/1M5wenM 🙂

You go to so many cool events! I haven’t heard of Vernez before, but that’s nice that the creator was there to speak about it and greet people. It sounds like a useful app for figuring out different outfits. I especially like the idea of following a single item to see how people wear it. I’m glad you had fun time there!

Such a genius idea! Thank you 🙂

Apps are lifesavers. And to think that people once lived in a day and age where apps didn’t even exist. So weird to think about. Vernez definitely seems like a really cool app though, and it’s awesome that you got to go to the event.

I seriously can’t imagine my life without apps and to think it was only a couple of years ago… madness, haha.

Omg, I feel like that app is made for me. I always can’t choose what to wear in the mornings but when I do, I usually have no idea if I should style it with a skirt or jeans that day. I usually google like what goes with out and end up on pinterest looking at similar styles that are found in my wardrobe. Ugh, it’s such a hassle but I can’t help it, I just like looking presentable/alright/not about to have a breakdown.
She looks stunning ;_; Her heels are everythang!

I totally get you! I use Google and Pinterest to look up outfits, as well, but yeah like you I find it to be a hassle. I definitely think this app is the future 😛

I’ve never been to a launch for anything! I think this one would have been fun for me because I’m into fashion. I might have to check out the app. I don’t use Pinterest or anything like that, and usually rely on my own clothes and ideas to develop my own style. I haven’t really looked for inspiration for a while, but sometimes I do wonder how I could dress up a certain piece. 🙂
LOOOVE your friend’s shoes. The style and the colour are amazing. 😀 Props to her!

It’s only available in the UK, at the moment. However, the lady I spoke to said they’re looking to do an international launch in the near future 🙂
She said thank you! Her shoes are Kurt Geiger 🙂
