    2018 Reflection

Happy New Year, my lovelies! 💕 The last time I did one of these reflections was in 2017, and I thought it was a really good way to look back on the year and really discover what I learnt about not only myself but also the world around me. 2018 was, for all intents and purposes, actually a pretty good year. People have said it was up and down, and sure I’ve had some really bad downs but I still managed to go away quite a bit, eat some really good food and create new memories with the ones I love. So, without further ado here is my reflection on 2018.…

    Merry Christmas

That’s the presents unwrapped, the turkey eaten, the pigs in blankets devoured, all of the films watched. That’s Christmas done for another year! Can’t lie, I’ve definitely eaten enough to feed a small army today, not mention drank so much Moscato that it’s practically pouring out of my ears. I hope you all had a magical Christmas, wherever you are in the world ~ 2018 is around the corner, so let us all wish for the best in the upcoming New Year. PS. Doctor Who was pretty good this year. Scream for Lethbridge-Stewart. Scream because we have finally got rid of Steven Moffatt. Scream because of the new Doctor’s Yorkshire…

    Final Thoughts of 2014

Contrary to popular belief, I have not stumbled down a rabbit hole and disappeared off to Wonderland (although, that would be lovely). No, alas, I have just been procrastinating with my blogging, again, and as such the Leibster award post is still to be posted. Am sorry, but not really. So… Christmas season. It’s meant to be full of joy and warmth, and it is but it also comes with an ounce of stress. The stress of buying Christmas presents, wondering where the feck 2014 went? This has been on my mind for the past week… Where has 2014 gone? I could have sworn that it was only yesterday when…

    January Depression

Between having Netflix marathons of White Collar and desperately trying to come up with more ideas for my story, I have sunk into what I call ‘January Depression’. This period of time is right after all the excitement of Christmas and New Year when you notice that your trousers are a little tighter than you’d like and all you want to do is stay at home and watch TV because you need to save money. The only times you’ll go out partying is if you hear, “Entry’s free” or “Free drinks all night” and the only times you’ll see your friends is if they invite you around for dinner. Damn you,…

    Word of the Day: Turnt

Step 1: Purchase all the alcohol from your local convenience store.  I honestly mean ALL the alcohol. Cider, beer, alcopops, and tequila – basically anything you can your hands on. Drink responsibly 😉 Step 2: Stake out the perfect location to see the fireworks. This can be somewhat of a mission if you live in London. Usually they do the fireworks by the London Eye, however, this is a problem in that there are always way too many people. It can get crowded and sweaty and drunk people will probably accost you. My tip, if you live in London, is to go to Parliament Hill. You’ll be miles away from…

    TMI Tag

Kayla recently did the TMI tag, so I thought I’d give it a whiz. You can have a go if you want 🙂 1: What are you wearing? Captain America t-shirt, black skirt, thermal tights, black boots. 2: Ever been in love? I have 3: Ever had a terrible breakup? I’ve only had one break-up and it wasn’t bad, just afterwards was the worst 4: How tall are you? Not entirely sure, but I think I’m 5ft 5: How much do you weigh? Who has time to weigh themselves, these days? Haha 6: Any tattoos? One on my shoulder that says “We’re all mad here” – I love Alice in…
