It’s been a while since the last New York post, but I still have a lot to write about! Our original plan was to head to the Statue of Liberty, however because it was a Saturday and the weather was ridiculously good, the queue was insanely long. There was a beautiful sculpture in Battery Park showing a group of people from various countries arriving in the United States. The sculpture shows extreme mixed emotions, from the relief of finally stepping ashore, to the anxiety of facing the unknown.
