Taking Over New York With Joy
[I got a bit trigger happy with the photos in this post.] Let me start off by saying, āI crossed something off my bucket list!!!1111!!!21!1!!!!ā In doing that I am leading the way to taking over the world. Ha, joke. So, before I left for New York I asked if any bloggers were in the area and Joy said she was! We made all the necessary arrangements and I found myself meeting her at Penn Station on Monday morning after coming from Baltimore. Itās a surreal experience meeting someone who youāve only spoken to online before. This is an actual person who youāve exchanged comments with and youāve read all…

The Month of Turn UP
I’m not really sure how it happened, but I’veĀ somehow managed to get most of August booked up doing absolutely everything. It started with a Mexican Food Fiesta cooked by yours truly, in which I tried my hand at making watermelon agua frescaĀ using this recipe. Not trying to boast, but it was delicious. Next thing I knew I was filling up all available spots with things to do. To be fair, it IS my birthday month, so you can excuse me for wanting to turn up every single day. Although 22 isn’t exactly a big milestone, it is still a pivotal moment in our lives (I’m quoting Mutay, here, btw). Mutay…

Hang on a Secondā¦
I was doing my usual YouTube browsing on my bus journey home today when one of those pre-roll ads interrupted my viewing. This ad was a trailer for the film āEndless Loveā starring Alex Pettyfer (I Am Number Four, Beastly, Magic Mike) and Gabriella Wilde (The Three Musketeers, Carrie). Usually I skip after the first 5 seconds but this trailer caught my attention because I swear Iād seen a film exactly like this before⦠Wait⦠Iāll be damned⦠It definitely looks a lot like āThe Notebookā. Lets take a look at the similarities Thereās a rich girl Meanwhile, thereās a local boy who her father doesnāt approve of (obviously) They…

A Weekly Update
These sort of weekly updates have been really image-laden. I’m going to cut it down because I know that sometimes it can take ages to load and be really slow. There was a Christmas party at work, last week Thursday, which was pretty fun. It was my first Christmas party, as well, and despite knowing people in the office it was still nerve-wracking. There was a proper sit-down dinner which included turkey with all the trimmings. There was also a raffle in which the main prize was an iPad mini. Sadly, I didn’t win anything. There was live music down in the studios, as well as a cinema room. Plus…

November Loving – Happy December!
November has finished, already?! Hello, friends! I can’t believe it’s December already… Last month flew by so fast, but I’ll admit it has been an awesome month. The Coca-Cola adverts have started showing in the UK, so that means it’s officially Christmas! Has anyone started their Christmas shopping yet? Anyways, to mark the end of November/start of December I thought I’d let you guys know things I’ve been loving in November! Shoes It gets really cold in the winter, so I treated myself to some new boots from Daisy Street. I used to wear my mum’s boots but she gets pissed out when I wear her stuff, haha. I love…
