    For the Love of Travel!

In an attempt to keep things fresh on the blog, I’ve opted to write about a variety of topics but in a more uniformed way. I’m trying to get back into the blogosphere slowly, so I thought if I had some sort of plan in place this would help. Every month, I’m going to try and post at least 4 times within these categories: Lifestyle, Travel, Food & Books. These are things I’ve written about a lot over the years anyway, but now I’m going to try and tame the chaos that is my blog. Last week’s post was about self-care and this week I’ll be discussing my love of…

    Life Lately 2

Can you believe it’s already September? August was pretty dope, I can’t lie. Aside from going to Barcelona, I also celebrated my 24th birthday, Mutay’s 24th birthday and went to Notting Hill Carnival. August is when legends are born. Huhuhuhuhuhuhuu~ 1. I turned 24 24 is such a non-age, if you know what I mean? Still, I’m determined it the best year before I turn halfway to 50. I really do need to focus on my life goals and also find a new job. All in good time. Celebrations started the night before, where Mutay and I met our friend Tilly at an underground nightclub in Dalston called the Alibi.…

    ¿Dónde está la biblioteca?

I’m back from Barcelona with a wicked tan and a penchant for saying “Hola!” and “Gracias!”, all the time. Dear Barcelona, When I visited you two years ago, you took my heart. I vowed I would return, and whilst it took me two years to make it back – I did. You didn’t disappoint. From your astonishing views to your chilled out vibes and amazing weather, everything about you is a hundred and ten percent perfect. I didn’t want to leave, but alas it is back to reality for me. It won’t be long til I’ll be back. Adiós. DAY 1 We almost missed our coach to the airport, and the…

    The Food Diaries // 002

Let’s take it international! Last year, I had the fortune to go to Barcelona for a couple of days with some friends. Whilst there I experienced some of the nicest food, ever. From churros to the tastiest bubblegum ice cream, I was in food heaven all the time. I will never forget, however, the burger I had at Makamaka Beach Burger Cafe. Boasting ‘¡Burgers y Besos!’, the food was so delicious. Located right near the beach, it’s a nice spot to chill after lounging about all day doing nothing. Now, I’m not saying that you have to trek halfway across the world for a burger, but you might want to give…

    Final Thoughts of 2014

Contrary to popular belief, I have not stumbled down a rabbit hole and disappeared off to Wonderland (although, that would be lovely). No, alas, I have just been procrastinating with my blogging, again, and as such the Leibster award post is still to be posted. Am sorry, but not really. So… Christmas season. It’s meant to be full of joy and warmth, and it is but it also comes with an ounce of stress. The stress of buying Christmas presents, wondering where the feck 2014 went? This has been on my mind for the past week… Where has 2014 gone? I could have sworn that it was only yesterday when…

    Me Encanta Barcelona

Barcelona in one sentence: sun, sea and alcohol. Well, maybe not so much sun because it was pretty cloudy when we went. My friends were complaining that it was too hot, but as someone who’s been to the Philippines many times it was like water off a duck’s back for me. Nevertheless, I have an interesting tan line on my butt to show for it. Barcelona is amazing. It’s so amazing that I’m going back in September with Mutay. I haven’t booked anything, yet, but the passion to go back is so ridiculous. Alas, I’m stuck in an office being jealous of my colleague who’s going to China in August.…

A Gym Playlist Is a Must Have

The wheels have been set in motion for my holiday in June. I’ll be flying to Barcelona for 3 days from the 21st, and to say I’m excited is an understatement. Excitement aside, I’ve realised that I actually want to wear a bikini on this holiday because, a) It’s gonna be hot, AF and b) there’s a rooftop pool at our hostel. That being said, I’ve realised that perhaps the takeaways and overeating has taken it’s toll because I am nowhere near a flat stomach. I’m not fat, but I could do with a little toning here and there. Also, just being fit in general is always good. I actually…
