Things People Do That Annoy Me

In my previous post, I mentioned that I would continue the story of Prague in the next post. However, I’m going to be put that on hold and instead write about things people do that annoy me. Recently I started watching Supernatural and there are just some things that the characters do in the show that annoy me – like, when they hear something rustling in the distance and get scared, they decide to go and check it out! Who does that?! If it were me, personally, I would high tail it out of there and never been seen again. Forget about being murdered by the Hook Man or eaten…

    When in Prague

So, it has been a while since the last blog post but to be fair I was off travelling and having the time of life. Yes, I went travelling again – this time for my friend’s 21st rather than for field research, so it was 10 times more fun. We went to Prague for 4 days from 14th to the 18th, and boy, we came back with stories. Prague itself is a beautiful country. A bit smoky, but I’ll explain that bit later. To be honest, whilst we did explore it a bit, we spent most of our time partying. We arrived on Friday, and as soon as we grabbed…

    How to Deal with Heartbreak

I honestly have no clue. Why am I even writing this post? Oh yes. Because for the second time in my 20 years of existence I got my heart broken, and I wasn’t even in a relationship. It sucks really. Actually, it more than sucks. There are no words for what I’m feeling right now except maybe hurt, angry and broken. I have a few tips with how to deal with it, though. You’d think because I have these tips I could totally be fine with having my heart broken. Again. You’re wrong. Oh so, wrong. 1. Don’t think you can get over it just like that It will takes months, maybe…

    Rwyf Wrth Fy Modd Caerdydd

Last Sunday Mutay and I went on a little day trip to Cardiff! For Christmas, Mutay got me tickets to the Doctor Who Experience in Cardiff Bay. As you should all know by now I am a massive fan of Doctor Who. When I say massive, it’s beyond ridiculous. Anyway, Cardiff  Bay is a really nice little place and I will definitely be visiting again. The Doctor Who Experience itself was amazing and I recommend it to any Whovian out there. I’ve been to the one in London but it’s shit compared to the one in Cardiff because the exhibition part of the experience is so much better and more…

    Velkommen Til Norge

So, for the past couple of days, I went on a field trip as part of my course to Norway! Myself and two other people in my group spent 4 days in Bergen, which is on the west coast of Norway. It is a pretty amazing place and the scenery was really beautiful. Also, because it had recently been snowing the mountains were snowcapped and looked really cool. Here are some things to watch out about Bergen: 1. It’s expensive! Norway is one of the most expensive countries in the world to live in. When their main source of income is through oil, then I guess I can see why…

The Way You Make Me Feel

Mutay has a new link! Go check her out @ ohmutay.com Let the record show that I am the most awkward person in this entire universe… especially when it comes to guys. But maybe I should start from the beginning. That would be a better idea. Let me start from my time in London up until yesterday in fact. So, last Thursday I had a hospital appointment in which the doctor’s feel they needed to see me just to check that I’m okay and my medication is up to date when really they could have just phoned me but hey-ho. I decided to just stay in London for the weekend because it…

    Information Overload

Right, first things first. I am sorry. I am very sorry that it has been nearly a month since my last post but to be fair, I do have a lot of updates to get through with you guys. So bare with me please. I am so far behind in replying to comments, it’s ridiculous but I swear as soon as this is posted I am getting right on it. I just want to say thank you to those still bothered to come and check on my blog and commented even whilst I was away. You are all angels and I am sitting making virtual cookies for you all. Please…

    Back to Reality

Christmas in the Philippines is much like any other day. Except there’s a lot of food and a ton of family come rolling into your house every hour. My first Christmas in the Philippines was fun, to say the least – it was very noisy, if you want me to say more about it. Other than that, it was pretty awesome. Seriously, though – it was weird going shopping on Christmas Day seeing as in the UK all the shops are usually closed (except for those corner shops where the owner doesn’t celebrate Christmas…). The shopping mall was pretty packed, though. But here I am, back in the UK. I was really…
