    Liebster Blog Award 2

This is actually the second time I’ve been nominated for the Liebster blog award – you can read the first post here. Meaghan nominated me for this award, so thank you! All you have to do is answer the 11 questions from the person who nominated you and then you ask your own set of 11 questions to people you nominate! 🙂 1. What is one thing that makes you happiest? Hmm. I would have to say writing because I can just let out all my emotions on paper and instantly feel better/happier. Also, food. And TV, come to think of it (sad life). 2. If you could live for…

    A Weekly Update

These sort of weekly updates have been really image-laden. I’m going to cut it down because I know that sometimes it can take ages to load and be really slow. There was a Christmas party at work, last week Thursday, which was pretty fun. It was my first Christmas party, as well, and despite knowing people in the office it was still nerve-wracking. There was a proper sit-down dinner which included turkey with all the trimmings. There was also a raffle in which the main prize was an iPad mini. Sadly, I didn’t win anything. There was live music down in the studios, as well as a cinema room. Plus…

    Christmas Spirit

This is it! For the whole month of December, I’m pretty sure every single post on blogger’s sites will mention something about Christmas. I know mine will 😛 I finally managed to grab a bit of time to myself, as I know it’ll be too tired/busy on the weekend, to quickly update my blog. Work has been super busy as of late, as we’re trying to get more people to install and I’m top doing social outreach. At the moment, I’m running a competition on Twitter which I must say is super fun, as well as writing blog posts. (I guess I am getting paid to blog even if it…

    November Loving – Happy December!

November has finished, already?! Hello, friends! I can’t believe it’s December already… Last month flew by so fast, but I’ll admit it has been an awesome month. The Coca-Cola adverts have started showing in the UK, so that means it’s officially Christmas! Has anyone started their Christmas shopping yet? Anyways, to mark the end of November/start of December I thought I’d let you guys know things I’ve been loving in November! Shoes It gets really cold in the winter, so I treated myself to some new boots from Daisy Street. I used to wear my mum’s boots but she gets pissed out when I wear her stuff, haha. I love…

This Is How We Do: Class of 2013

Hello, friends! How have you all been? I was meant to have this post up by Friday, but things got a little busy and I haven’t been feeling too well. Anyway, on Monday I had my graduation! Instead of writing a load about what an amazing day it was (it was) and how it was nice to see all my friends, again, I will provide you with a photo heavy post instead Enjoy! It was a pretty exciting day and I can’t believe I’ve actually finished university, officially! We finished the day by visiting Bella Italia, an Italian restaurant, and then I stayed the night at Mutay’s. We popped some…

    Let’s Talk About… Blurred Lines

I don’t often engage in social commentary on my blog and I feel like I should do this more. I always love having an open discussion and see how other people react – makes life just a little bit more interesting. How many of you have heard the song Blurred Lines by Robin Thicke feat. T.I. & Pharrell? No? View the video above and let me know your thoughts on the song. Let me know what was the first thing that came to into your head when you viewed it. Today, at work, I was reading this article on the Guardian. It basically spoke about how a whole of people are in…

    #WCW & No Extensions Week?

Guess what day it is, today? Huuuuump day. Since yesterday I’ve been having some trouble accessing my blog, but I’m pretty sure it’s purely a thing on my end. I have no idea how to fix it but I definitely know my blog is still working because other people can access it. Anyway, no harm done because I managed to access my blog via a proxy site. A tad bit annoying but when you need to blog, you need to blog 😛 I’ll see if there’s anything I can do soon. It’s getting colder and colder over here in the UK which means that I have to put away my…

    Weekly Wishes & Typhoon Yolanda

Hello, friends! How about spicing things up on my blog this week? I’m new to these link up collectives but I’m always looking for new blogs to read and new friends to make. So, I decided to join Mel’s ‘Weekly Wishes’ link up at The Nectar Collective. This week’s photo theme is ‘hobbies’, and so I took a picture that reflected my hobbies = writing – I use my MacBook to write blog posts and stories, a notepad – for all my brilliant ideas, and drinking coffee in my OMG! mug. That’s a hobby, right? 🙂 My week’s wishes include: Getting back on track with NaNoWriMo – this year I…

    Happy November

I finally managed to get rid of that free host I had which messed up my blog and tried to delete all my files without my consent. I am now with ofblue.org. Happy days. Happy November, guys. It’s hard to believe that it’s nearly the end of the year already – I could have sworn just yesterday I was still in university… My November has been pretty happy, not going to lie. It was Guy Fawkes Day on Tuesday and I went to see the fireworks with a friend. If you follow me on Instagram then you would have seen the picture/video I took when I went. Guy Fawkes Night,…

    Here’s the Thing…

So, I went to a thrift store last weekend. Here’s the thing… I’ve never been to a thrift store and well, frankly it wasn’t really a thrift store – it was just an event held by this vintage thrift store where everything was a £1. Let’s just say I was madly disappointed, especially since I went there with high expectations. We arrived at the venue and as expected there was so many people. Being a short person is a disadvantage in these sort of situations, but I battled through and we managed to get in in the end. They were only letting a few people in and out at a…
