November Loving – Happy December!

November has finished, already?!

Hello, friends! I can’t believe it’s December already… Last month flew by so fast, but I’ll admit it has been an awesome month. The Coca-Cola adverts have started showing in the UK, so that means it’s officially Christmas! Has anyone started their Christmas shopping yet?

Anyways, to mark the end of November/start of December I thought I’d let you guys know things I’ve been loving in November!

Shoes

It gets really cold in the winter, so I treated myself to some new boots from Daisy Street. I used to wear my mum’s boots but she gets pissed out when I wear her stuff, haha. I love my new boots and I got them with a 10% discount ( despite not actually being a student, anymore… ). They are Timbaland like and have fur on the inside which is a total bonus. I wore them the whole day the other day even though I didn’t go out. Ha!

Eyebrows

I’ve been meaning to get my eyebrows done properly and the last time I had them done was in the Philippines about a year ago now. Safe to say they were getting a bit out of control. There are loads of eyebrow places near where I live but they look a bit dodgy and charge cheap which I don’t really trust. So, I popped in the eyebrow bar in Superdrug, a well-known beauty and health retailer, and they charge £5 to get your eyebrows threaded which is really good. I’ve never had them threaded and it did hurt a little bit but totally worth the pain. If you follow me on Twitter, you can see the pictures 🙂

Make-up

I had my graduation toward the end of November and I wasn’t really sure whether I should take a stab at wearing make-up or not because I have never worn any make-up before except eyeliner and mascara. Anyway, on the day I had a massive red spot but thanks to the lovely lady at the Benefit stand in Debenhams I got kitted out with some concealer and also bought a facial wash set, too. I’ve never used concealer but I’m loving it – I get pissed out though because my skin is like two different colours so I have to use a different colour on my forehead to the rest of my face.

Work

Work has been super fun and busy lately. I got to shadow a lady at a PR agency called MediaVision and got to help out on the AdPlus account which is the app that the company I work for made. I worked on some blog posts, tweeted a little to try and gain more followers and blogger outreach too. I also got to work on the newsletter that will be sent to those who installed the app. Plus my boss buys me cups of tea, so I can’t really complain.

Nail varnishes

Barry M do some amazing nail varnishes which I looooove. There’s always an offer on in Superdrug too which I take total advantage of. I bought a Gelly varnish in dark blue, a matte varnish in Vanilla and a nail texture effect in pale blue.

Love More by Chris Brown ft. Nicki Minaj

This really needs no explanation.

Hair extensions

I recently experimented by dying my hair extensions blue – it kind of worked but I think I need a little more practice to achieve the look I want. I bought some new clip ins as well, so I’m excited to try them out.

Catching Fire

I went to see this last night with my friend, and it was absolutely amazing! The first one was okay, but I felt that whilst some bits were like the book, some bits were completely left out which I thought were important. However, the second instalment stuck close to the book which I’m really pleased about – plus, Peeta has buffed UP *smirk*

TV shows

I watch A LOT of TV shows, and I am so pleased with the seasons right now! Supernatural is killing it, right now, alongside American Horror Story.

I’m also loving Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D despite the amount of friends I know that have just gotten bored of it. The Carrie Diaries, prequel to Sex and the City, is pretty good as well – loving the character development. Castle has me ‘Aww’-ing every 10 seconds with Castle/Beckett.

New Girl, The Mindy Project and Modern Family are pretty good, as well. Well done, writers. Well done. (Although, Glee is losing it’s momentum fast and I’m only watching for the sake of it. This week’s episode, I could have sworn the writers were high when writing it…)

Happy December, guys!

I can’t believe it is December as well! I’m all done with my Christmas shopping.

I’m happy to hear that about Catching Fire. I devoured all three books in about a few days and love them to pieces but I still feel like Mockingjay is the weakest out of the Trilogy. I thought the same about Harry Potter’s seventh book, still I was glad to see the movie version better than the book.

Haha, I finished the three books quickly as well! I agree with the Mockingjay book – I feel like she rushed it a bit and Katniss/Peeta development wasn’t all that I expected it to be.

Ahhh Catching Fire was SO GOOD!!

If I'm honest, I'm not loving the latest season of Supernatural. I absolutely LOVE Charlie but I hated that whole Wizard Of Oz episode. The Castiel one was amazing, though.

I definitely wanna go see it again!

West has grown so much, it’s unbelievable. And he’s so cheeky! 😛

Awww, that’s a shame. I love Charlie and I do hope she comes back, and anything with Castiel is just amazing in general. Dean is cracking me up this series, though. He’s too much.

Heyyy. Is that Castiel over there with West?? Sooo cute. <3 I'm gonna watch the supernatural season when its done. I just can't go through waiting for it every week.

It is, indeed! He the absolute cutest! It’s on mid season hiatus, right now, and I am suffering T_T The latest episode killed me.
