Too Much Television?
Before you start with me, I don’t really have an excuse for not blogging. I mean, I have posts lined up (I got nominated for the Liebster award, again, so look out for that), I just haven’t posted them up…
I thought I’d take the time to blog about what I’ve been up to whilst I’ve been on this unexpected hiatus… television. If you look at my recent tweets, then you’ll see that all I ever tweet about these days is TV. It’s not an obsession, I promise. Here are my favourite picks for 2014, so far.
Most are on break, at the moment, so it’ll give you plenty of time to catch up. They’re in no particular order!
1. Arrow
One word (or hashtag, rather): #Olicity. Also, Stephen Amell is mega hot, so you can’t really go wrong there.
2. Castle
Because Beckett and Castle FINALLY got married! For real, they made us wait an age. Props to the side characters too, they’re never forgotten.
3. Sleepy Hollow
Orlando Jones thinks Destiel is cute and Joy and I want Abbie and Ichabod to have beautiful 300 year old caramel babies. I don’t like Katrina, though.
4. Gotham
Gotham’s child actors are the cutest. Kid!Bruce Wayne is just so sassy and I love Selina Kyle and also Ryan from the OC is on my TV again! Oh, bae.
5. How To Get Away With Murder
Shonda Rhimes is some kind of wizard. Her shows have got me hooked and now she got me waiting until January 29th until the next episode of HTGAWM and Scandal. Shonda – Y U DO DIS?! Also most of the scenes got me feeling some type of way – Annalise needs to stop it.
6. Jane the Virgin
This one took me by complete surprise. I never expected the show to be as good as it is, and I swear it just gets better each episode. Rogelio and his damn antics and Jane and Rafael giving me so many relationship goals that I know I will never accomplish. Goddamn feels!
Special episode mentions:
Supernatural’s 200th episode. How could I not mention it?! ISSA FREAKING MUSICAL. I’m not going to spoil it for anyone, but MAN. MAN. That ending. MAN. Bye.

Congratulations on the Liebster award once again ;). I always have trouble getting leibster awards posted :(((. Hopefully everything is going well for you ;D.
!!!! I started watching Arrow recently. Felicity is my #WCW because she’s a cyber security extraordinare!!!! LOVE!!!! Last night, I started watching a random TV show but didn’t know it was How to Get Away with Murder. I didn’t know what was happening because I started watching in the middle of the show *o*.
Little Bruce Wayne is adorable! I need more of Gotham to be aired!!!!
I don’t understand the storyline of Jane the Virgin. I’m surprised to hear it’s actually better than it sounds :ooooo!!!!!!
Chynna
Arrow is so good! I absolutely adore Felicity. She is the most amazing, amazing person. Gosh.
Did you watch the mid season finale, is the question?!?!?!?!?!?!?!!! HEART ATTACK.
Gotham is really good is well :3 Can’t wait till they both come back.
Basically, Jane gets artificially inseminated by accident and gets pregnant despite being virgin. It sounds ridiculous, but I swear to you the show is really good!

Lol. I don’t have any excuse for not blogging too. I’ve been procrastinating to anything blog-related these past few months.
Anyway, gosh I want to watch a tv series. I just don’t know how to start watching them bec most of the series now are in season 4 or 5 and I don’t know where to watch the first few seasons. Lol.
If i’m not mistaken, this is also my first comment on your blog. You have a very nice one!
Chynna
If you like comic stuff, then I suggest The Flash because it’s still only on season 1 🙂
Thank you for visiting!

I feel you on too much TV and not enough blogging. I also have school though…and the funny thing is I’d rather blog than focus on school. Oh, the dilemma!
I haven’t seen any of these shows although Jane the Virgin and How to Get Away with Murder are both on my to watch list.
I’m currently catching up on Doctor Who though. Just finished Scandal and I’m still in the process of watching Gilmore Girls and House of Cards. SO MANY SHOWS. Not to mention, Pretty Little Liars is returning. Le sigh. Life.
Chynna
I think I’ve died because you said you catching up on Doctor Who. You know how much I love it and omg, pls pls let me know what you think *insert incoherent sentences here*

How do you have posts lined up? Omg I can barely think of topics to blog about. :c
Congrats on being nominated for the award again!
I tried getting into Arrow when my dad was watching it, but I couldn’t. Probably because I watched a couple episodes of it with him, but it wasn’t from the very beginning. My boyfriend wants me to watch it so he can talk to me about it lol. I’ll probably try again in the near future.
I’ve heard of HTGAWM & I wanted to start it! But eh, I’m not so sure about it. I haven’t heard much about it, but it’s been mentioned a few times lol. I’ll probably start it after I watch Arrow. 😛
HURRAY FOR SUPERNATURAL!!!! I stopped watching it after the 4th season on Netflix… I’m not sure why. I need to start getting back into it omg. I miss it so much lol.
Chynna
I just write them up and schedule them to come out on different days 🙂 I know how you feel on the topics, though. Serious brain fart.
If anything watch Arrow for all the shirtless scenes. Stephen Amell is hot, goddammit.

Congrats on your nomination for the second time! Let that help you get over bloggers’ block, so that you can blog more again! Don’t worry, you’re not alone in this whole blog hiatus thing. *Guilty as charged* xD
HTGAWM sounds interesting. Does the show provide good insights that are applicable in real life? If so, I may try to invest some time to watch it. The title of the show sounds pretty enticing.
Chynna
HTGAWM is definitely interesting. Each episode, so far, has dealt with a different case, so you have an insight into the person who committed crime and more information on the justice system, etc. You should definitely give it shot – the main character is amazing!

Can I just say how wonderful your little theme is?! This might show how long it’s been since I’ve been active on the inter webs, so apologies for not visiting sooner, but it really is stellar-looking! 😉
I have seen one episode of “How to get away with murder” and I was quite shocked to see a grown-up Dean from Harry Potter- he’s quite attractive in it actually. And I started to watch Gotham too, but the stories were just not catching enough. The best character in it is Penguin, but that’s the only properly good thing. Also, I really dislike Alfred- I’m a fan of the actor, but he’s just not right for the character. I’m harping on now!
I think it’s something about the cold winter nights that make you want to curl up and watch endless television. It’s extremely satisfying!

Thank you, darling!
Omg, Dean. Alfred Enoch (His name even sounds magical, in fact) is an actual beaut. There’s one scene in HTGAWM and I was like *_____*
Ah, Gotham gets good. I promise you. Fisheye Mooney is a pretty good character for me, as well. I agree with Penguin.

Hope that you can go to Taiwan soon. I will be posting about it after my Korea trip blog posts, which I hope to finish soon.

It’s hard to blog on a schedule, but I find if I blog once then I am more motivated to blog again and again.
A few of these shows I’ve been meaning to watch, mainly Gotham and Arrow, but ever since it was announced that they won’t be part of the movie universe it’s kind of became less of an urgent thing for me to watch.
