Blog Everyday in February,  Life

February Highlights 2014

I feel like I should be playing End of the Road – Boyz II Men whilst you guys read this post. You know what? Here, have the video.

So, it’s finally the end of February and looking back I can’t believe what a roller coaster it has been! I have done so many exciting things in just one month and I’m glad you guys were there whilst I documented it.

Here are a few February highlights:

1. Got to see Childish Gambino in concert
2. Joined OkCupid
3. Went on a date with someone I met on OkCupid
4. Started a new internship
5. Started a new blog with my best friend
6. Had some crazy, fun times and met some awesome new people!

I’m looking forward to what next month brings me, even though it’ll be tight money-wise for me. I probably won’t be posting as much next month, as I feel that I need to take a break but it’s been fun getting back into the flow of blogging. Doing ‘Blog Everyday in February’ made me realise how much I missed blogging and made me remember how much I used to blog when I was younger. That makes me sound older than I actually am, but you know what I mean 🙂

I’m hoping to still do Wreck This Journal Wednesday but that depends on how busy I get. There’s one page where it tells you to hand the book in public and let people doodle on the page, so I definitely want to do that and possibly record it.

Anyways, until the next post, it was fun writing for you guys everyday this February. Hope you have a wonderful March!

That’s great how you managed to fit in so much in 28 days! 😀 I wanna see what I’ve achieved so far in 2014! Gotta look back 😀

I want to get one of them journal things, they seem like a cool item to have 😀 I don’t think I can blog everyday. I won’t know what to write O_O

When I looked back on February I genuinely didn’t realise how much I’d done! There are always blogging prompts that can help you, if you did want to blog everyday in a month 🙂

Hello, there! I’m a first-time visitor, so nice to have stumbled upon your site 🙂

OMG WRECK THIS JOURNAL WEDNESDAY??? That sounds so exciting and coincidental, because I just got a Wreck This Journal today from Barnes&Noble! 😀 I was watching grav3yardgirl on youtube do wreck it wednesdays (do you watch her?) and got super inspired 🙂

I hope that you’ll check out my little bloggie too: http://flyingox.com

    Have a lovely day!

Why are you so funny? The Boyz II Men video cracked me up. I enjoyed you posting in Feb. and your guest posters! Sorry I got your email so late! I would have posted for you but I owe you one.

Also, good luck to you on that Wreak This Journal page. I would probably hyperventilate and pass out trying to do something like that lol.

First off, I have to congratulate you for blogging everyday last month! Kudos to you for keeping up with that and finding your blogging passion.

Boyz II Men! I miss the boy band days. For some reason, One Direction just doesn’t cut it for me. They do have some catchy songs though.

I had to look up what a Wreck This Journal was. I love the concept and the idea behind it, but I’m one of those people who wouldn’t be able to damage a book, even if it tells me too. D; I look forward to your posts in this series though!

Blogging everyday is (I think) a pretty big deal! It gets more difficult as time goes on, and it takes pacing to not grow bored or tired or burnt out of or on blogging. Hopefully you do the WTJ page! Honestly, some of those prompts were a bit too out there for me. 😡 I didn’t want to lose my book. 😐 I haven’t completed my WTJ; I just use it whenever I’m mad and need something to take my anger out on. It works. xD

Congrats on blogging everyday in February! I have been trying to achieve that but always failed as I am lazy to blog after my work. 🙁 Oh well…

  • Nancy

Congratulations on finishing your blogging every day in February project! *Hands imaginary ribbon*

It sounds like you had an eventful month! I remember those events that happened this month! OkCupid sounds like it’s working out for you XD. It found you a date :P. Congratulations once again on your new internship! You’re working your way up the ranks!

Hopefully you’re not burnt out from blogging and your finances won’t be too bad on you. I remembered back in 2010, everyone blogged a lot more than they do now. I have some posts from back then on my site and I can’t believe how I managed to post a lot and have a lot of comments on it every day… But those posts were kind of crappy, haha. I guess that blogging is now more on the quality side vs quantity. I’m sure you see this difference too!

    Happy March!

Thank you, Nance! I will display my ribbon with pride 😀

Yes, I do. I used to blog a lot about what I did at school and looking back the posts were all pretty much the same! I prefer to write about topics that interest me now or if something REALLY exciting in happening in my life.

      Happy March to you, too!

I got super excited after reading you post just now. Well maybe a bit before then. I saw Boyz II Men, I was like one of my favorite songs! But it’s really awesome to see that you are on OkCupid! I was on there too. I no longer have any use for it. Well I found the one! And I hope you will too. I feel like online dating is now the way to go. I don’t know about anyone else, but depending on the setting and what not. I never appreciate being approached like in real life. Could be, because some guys are just real jerks and totally sexiest.

    • Chynna Ashley

I totally get what you mean! I think I like online dating because you get to ‘screen’ people before you agree to go on a date with them. When I meet someone in real life for the first time, I don’t know, but for me it’s difficult to get to know someone.

Aw, that’s so lovely that you found the one through OkCupid!

I’ve done nothing this month… well, nothing extraordinary. 😛 March is my month (I hope). I have 2 gigs (Fall Out Boy [!!] and Five Finger Death Punch), a university open day and a university taster day. So here’s hoping that all goes well.

    How did the date go?
