Christmas Spirit

This is it! For the whole month of December, I’m pretty sure every single post on blogger’s sites will mention something about Christmas. I know mine will 😛

I finally managed to grab a bit of time to myself, as I know it’ll be too tired/busy on the weekend, to quickly update my blog.

Work has been super busy as of late, as we’re trying to get more people to install and I’m top doing social outreach. At the moment, I’m running a competition on Twitter which I must say is super fun, as well as writing blog posts. (I guess I am getting paid to blog even if it isn’t my own blog!)

On Wednesday I finished work early and decided to do a bit of Christmas shopping. That failed on my part because I couldn’t find anything and ended up buying lots of stuff for myself instead including a navy blue Christmas jumper, loads of socks and a bowler hat. Pleased with my purchases, but annoyed because I didn’t get any headway on my list that day.

Thank god for online shopping, though! I managed to order quite a few bits today and yesterday plus I’m eligible for an Amazon Prime free trial so can get free next day delivery. Glorious. I’ve finally completed my Secret Santa gift, just in time too because we’re exchanging the week after next. She’s a big superhero fan, in particular, Batman, so I got her a necklace from Lylia Rose which came with free P&P and fairly inexpensive. It even came in a gift pouch! Loved it. I also got her a Batman mug that says, “Always be yourself. Unless you can be Batman. Then be Batman”. Exciting!

I’m not too fussed about what I get this year for Christmas, because I’m quite content with what I have but TV show merchandise would not go unwanted by me.

The black bat necklace looks great! It reminds me of Batman movies. Speaking of which, I missed watching Batman movies. I wonder when the next movie will be released…

I totally understand what you mean about Christmas shopping. It’s like “a present for you, and a present for me!”. No wonder I’m skint.

Any Batman fan will love that necklace. It’s so cute! I have a Harley Quinn one that I bought of Etsy.

I was the complete opposite this time. I was like “I’ll finally get myself something this year.”
Nope. Didn’t happen and now I’m broke and didn’t get to spoil myself lol

I absolutely love that necklace and the text on the mug sounds hilarious. I want a mug like that!
I always have a hard time with buying christmas gifts, I want to buy everyone gifts, but I find it way easier to shop for my sister and mum than to show for my dad. I keep seeing things for women all around me while I’m looking for fun things for men.

I got it on Amazon for a fairly cheap prize, you should have a search, and I think they do all sorts of mugs!

I ended up buying my dad and granddad some chocolates/alcohol. It’s so true – there are so many perfume/clothes/jewellery ads! Although, half of the perfume ads are mens’ cologne, so there’s an idea 🙂
