Christmas at Kew

It’s the last post of the year! Can you believe that this year has gone by this quickly?!

I thought I’d mark the end of the year with a lovely picture of post of Mutay and I’s trip to Kew Gardens the other night. The stress that we went through trying to get there in time was unreal, but it was totally worth it because we had a wonderful time. Christmas at Kew is a unique night-time experience and we found ourselves on a one-mile sparkling path throughout the world-famous botanic gardens. There were lights, festivities, food (most important, of course) and we got to ride a carousel. Haven’t been on one of those in years!

We ended the trail with a magical fountain display and the Palm House was lit up to the sound of music.

cheesing. these were actual singing holly bushes. so cute as you walk through and hear the choir.
really felt the urge to steal one of the lit presents, aha
bossin’ w/ a peacock
we managed to snag the last marshmallows from the lady selling them. had fun roasting them, but the taste wasn’t that great
the amount of pictures i took of this damn lantern tree. i feel like this is the best one. eh.
phoenix tree in the fire garden. very paganistic.
“mutay! there’s donuts over there!” food is love, clearly.
them hipster christmas trees.
beginning of the trail. we had to sing a christmas song to light up the christmas tree, haha

carousel dreams. ?? #ChristmasatKew

I just want to say a big thank you to everyone who stayed reading my blog this year, even when I dropped off the face of the Earth. You’re all wonderful, gorgeous people!

I hope everyone has a blessed 2016. Here’s to more fun-filled adventures, making new friends and good surprises!

Happy New Year from Mutay and Chynna ?

Those pictures are beautiful. I love that you had to sing to light the tree up – that’s so funny! I wish there was something like that near where I live. We have a Christmas market and that’s about it.

Glad to hear you had a great Christmas! And happy new year!

Happy New Year, Chynna! Glad to hear that you spent your Christmas well. I love how the place is decorated with all sorts of different things. The marshmallows look huge! The Phoenix Tree looks really near because of the fire decoration around the tree.

Hope you will have a great year~

This is the first time I’ve heard of Kew Gardens, but it looks amazing! I’m going to add it to my never ending list of places to go to! It’s great that you had fun – hope you had a great Christmas and New years!

Have a lovely year ahead! Big hugs and kisses :-*

Happy New Year to you and Mutay, Chynna! I’m so glad we got to know each other in 2015, and I look forward to getting to know you more in 2016.

And those photos of Kew Gardens? Lovely! It makes me wish I was there with you all! I’m glad it was all worth it for you two despite the stress from getting there! Thanks for sharing your adventure!

The lights at the Kew Gardens look so pretty! I especially love the lanterns that are hung up on the trees. We have something similar here called the Trail of Lights, but it’s such a hassle to get to because of how popular it is. I still haven’t been! I really should some time though. I’m glad going to the Kew Gardens was worth the stress! It looks like a fun time!

Happy new year! Looking forward to your adventures in 2016!

Late to read this, but I hope you had the happiest of holidays and an even better new year so far! Based off what I’ve seen on Instagram, it definitely seems like you have 🙂 And these decorations are beautiful! Tbh I love those hipster christmas trees, they look sick ahaha.
