    This will probably be the last food post I do for New York. I would talk about The Halal Guys, but there’s only so much I can write about them. Basically, it’s chicken over rice and a helluva lot of special sauce. It’s soo good and so cheap, and it will fill you up! Anyway, the last place I’ll be writing about is Dallas BBQ.     Happy August! To celebrate the start of this wonderful month, which also happens to be my birthday month, here’s another entry for the Food Diaries! Korean BBQ is something that I have always wanted to try ever since witnessing it in several kdramas that I watch. When Mutay and I were in New York and found out there was a Korea Town, we just had to go and check out whether there were any good BBQ spots! We didn’t do any research, but luckily we chose good because the place we ended up in was the best.

    I have so many entries for the Food Diaries, and it’s making me equally hungry and excited. New York is chock full of amazing places to eat; from the streets of Brooklyn, all the way to Harlem you’ll be sure to find something that tickles your fancy. We managed to find ourselves in Amy Ruth’s on a Tuesday evening, after walking what seemed like forever around Central Park. It is in a fairly inconspicuous spot, but once you get inside it you feel right at home. We were seated in the corner opposite a mirror which was littered with signatures from various artists.
