Christmas at Kew
It’s the last post of the year! Can you believe that this year has gone by this quickly?! I thought I’d mark the end of the year with a lovely picture of post of Mutay and I’s trip to Kew Gardens the other night. The stress that we went through trying to get there in time was unreal, but it was totally worth it because we had a wonderful time. Christmas at Kew is a unique night-time experience and we found ourselves on a one-mile sparkling path throughout the world-famous botanic gardens. There were lights, festivities, food (most important, of course) and we got to ride a carousel. Haven’t been on one of…

#GamesOnTheBGO
Apologies for what seems to be a fail of a Blogmas series! Mutay and I have both been so busy with work (that’s always our excuse, isn’t it) and with Christmas literally two days away, it’s hard to squeeze anything in between last minute Christmas shopping and eating literally all of the food. Nevermind, eh? I’m back now and I just want to talk about the amazing time I had at the Murder Mystery night with bgo, Joe Blogs and Agent November.

Christmas Quiz
Hi all! It has been a while since I’ve done a blogmas post, my life has been very hectic with work. My colleague and I planned our Christmas Party and it was a huge success, I can’t believe over 70 members of staff turned up and everybody had a great time. I promise to do a separate post for that when all the pictures come in. For the time being I will have to leave with a generic questionnaire but they are always fun to read! 1. Fresh Tree/Fake Tree? I have never had a tree of my own for Christmas, as I used to spend it with my family when…

Spooktacular Halloween Make Up Class
I haven’t always ‘celebrated’ Halloween. I remember when I was younger, my mum never used to let us go trick or treating because she didn’t believe in Halloween and she’s quite a strict Catholic. However, over the years I’ve found myself actually doing something for Halloween now – whether it be fancy dress or just going out with friends, I love going out on this spooky night! When I got an email from Joe Blogs about a Halloween make up class, I jumped at the chance to attend. Located in the rather lush Thistle Holborn hotel, bloggers were treated to devilishly good food and drink, plenty of laughs and a…

Shoreditch Nights
Let’s just say, this weekend has been a bit crazy. I went out on Friday night and got stupidly drunk on half a bottle of vodka… Saturday was not a fun day. Today I managed to get myself out of bed and back into some sort of routine. I recently connected with a very old friend of mine from primary school! We hadn’t really spoken since we were about 8/9 when I moved to a new school, but as she still lives in area we bump into from time to time. The last time we saw each other we finally exchanged numbers to stay connected. My friend is very into…

Carnival Fiesta
¡Arriba! Everyone loves a good fiesta, and what with Christmas coming up now is always a good reason to party. Instead of the usual mistletoe-tinsel-snow theme, why don’t you go for a carnival theme – something that will get you in the mood for summer. (Admittedly, I am more of a summer person, but Christmas is always still much fun (except for the cold)) Thanks to Thomas Cook Airlines, I was invited to their Blogger Bash at Barrio East in Shoreditch back in October and I honestly had the best time ever. Carnival is always something to look forward, especially around August time when London plays host to Notting Hill Carnival.…

An Ode to Christmas Joy!
I should have started out on a more lighter post but due to the current decisions made by the British government my thoughts have turned into sour grapes, not the Merlot kind. This time of year really makes us think about others but more often than not we make plans in our minds rather than in the physical. It is important to look past the decisions made by the minority for the majority and spread some love! Spreading Christmas joy is easy! And it makes people around you feel better and more welcome. Here are a few of my thoughts on how to spread some joy this December, we can…
