Catching up with Friends

I went to see the Lego Movie with a friend today and I absolutely adored it. I’ve always been a big fan of Lego, so when I first watched the trailer for it I was really excited.

The film did not disappoint. My favourite character had to be Batman voiced by Will Arnett, but also Vitruvius voiced by Morgan Freeman. After the film, my friend and I went to McDonald’s where I got a Happy Meal (I am aware that I am 21 years of age) and I got a Batman Lego cup. Day made? Day made.

Yesterday, I went out to dinner for a friend’s birthday. It was really fun! I haven’t seen my friends since before Christmas, as we’ve all been busy with work and university, so it was a really good catch up.

I even decided to come clean about the fact that I joined an online dating site. I was a bit sceptical about telling my friends about it, because despite us all being close I wasn’t sure how they’d react to this.

Thankfully, they were actually okay with it. It turns out that one of the others had joined Tinder about a month ago, and she wasn’t going to say anything but because I opened the gateway she decided to spill the beans. I’m really happy that I was able to make her feel comfortable enough to tell us all.

It was really good to catch up over good food and some rosé. Mutay is also down for the weekend, so I’m going to see her tomorrow. I love weekends like these.

You’re so lucky for getting to see the Lego movie!! I haven’t watched it yet but hopefully I will soon D’:. I’m glad to hear that you liked the movie :D. You don’t need to be a kid for happy meals! As long as it makes you happy, you’re fine XD.

Joining an online dating site isn’t necessarily a bad thing or anything. It’s just that some people are really judgemental over things for some reason ~__~. It’s great that your friend was understanding! And it’s a plus that you got her into that comfortable level so kudos!

    Have a great week ^__^
